Scene 1 : The legend of Lake Toba

"The story tells the legend of Samosir, a boy who lived with his mother in a small village in North Sumatra. One day, a great flood hit the village. Samosir’s mother told him to climb to the top of a hill to stay safe. She then jumped into the flood and transformed into a golden fish. After several days, the flood began to decrease, but the village had already become a large lake. Only the hill where Samosir stayed remained above the water. The lake was later known as Lake Toba, and the hill became Samosir Island."
