Reflection
"Cut Nyak Meutia was a brave woman from Aceh who dedicated her life to fighting against Dutch colonialism. From a young age, she grew into a strong and determined woman who cared deeply about her homeland. Throughout her life, she faced many challenges and painful losses. She fought alongside her husband, Teuku Chik Tunong, and later continued the struggle with Pang Nanggroe. She lost both of them, but she never allowed grief and fear to stop her from fighting. With her courage and determination, Cut Nyak Meutia continued to lead her fighters through difficult conditions and dangerous battles. Until her final battle in Alue Kurieng on October 24, 1910, she remained committed to defending her homeland. Although Cut Nyak Meutia lost her life on the battlefield, her courage and fighting spirit live on. In 1964, she was officially recognized as an Indonesian National Hero. Her story reminds us that true courage is not about having no fear. It is about standing strong and continuing to fight for what we believe is right, even when the journey is difficult. Cut Nyak Meutia was not only a symbol of resistance, but also a symbol of courage, sacrifice, and love for her homeland. Her struggle ended, but her spirit will never be forgotten."
