Raka wonders whether the tradisional morning ritual of drinking sanger Gayo will remain meaningful to young people as life becomes more modern.
Ending
Raka finally understand the value of this simple tradition. He realizes that preserving Sanger Gayo means preserving the stories, culture, and togetherness of the Acehnese people.
Reflection
"This story tells about the morning coffee tradition in Gayo, Aceh. It shows how Gayo coffee is planted, harvested, processed, roasted, and finally made into a cup of Sanger.
Through Raka’s narration, we see that Sanger is not just a coffee drink. Behind one glass, there are farmers, nature, hard work, and Acehnese culture. Raka also realizes that young people have an important role in appreciating and keeping this tradition alive."
