Setting

Putri Pukes is a folktale from Aceh, Indonesia. The story takes place in a village in Aceh, where Putri Pukes lives with her mother. The story also takes place during Putri Pukes's journey after she gets married and leaves her family.

Conflict

The conflict begins when Putri Pukes gets married and has to leave her mother. Before she leaves, her mother gives her advice not to look back because it would bring sadness and bad consequences. However, while traveling with her husband, Putri Pukes becomes very sad and misses her mother. She eventually looks back at her home, even though her mother has warned her not to.

Ending

After Putri Pukes looks back, something magical happens. She is turned into stone. According to the legend, the stone remains as a reminder of what happened to her.

Along the way, she begins to miss her mother and regrets leaving her. She cries as she remembers the love and care her mother gave her. According to the legend, her sadness and tears lead to a magical event that turns Putri Pukes into stone. The story of Putri Pukes teaches us about the deep love between a mother and her child, the importance of appreciating our parents, and the consequences of leaving home without being prepared for the changes that come with it."
